¥$ is an American hip-hop supergroup composed of rapper Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla Sign. With the two maintaining a strong relationship during 2023, Ty was one of the select few West invited to record music with in Tokyo, Japan and later in Italy. During the recording sessions for West's eleventh studio album, they decided to set aside some of their music and create their three-volume collaborative album series, Vultures. The duo released the first installment, Vultures 1, on February 10, 2024.

Background and beginnings[edit]
Kanye West and singer Ty Dolla Sign began making music with each other in 2014, when they were working on West's seventh studio album The Life of Pablo. Following the album's release, Ty Dolla $ign became one of Ye's most frequent collaborators, contributing to some of his most prominent modern works – both released and unreleased – including Ye and the unreleased Yandhi.
