Erick Sermon

Erick Sermon (born November 25, 1968)[1] is an American rapper and producer. He is best known as one-third—alongside PMD & DJ Scratch—of 1980s/1990s hip hop group EPMD and for his production work.[2]

Personal life[edit]

On September 25, 2001, Sermon was injured when he fell from the third floor of an apartment building. Police claimed Sermon attempted suicide, however he later denied and claimed it was accidental.[6]


On November 12, 2011, he suffered a heart attack from which he recovered.[7]
