Kaitlyn Dawn Bristowe (born June 19, 1985)[1] is a Canadian television personality best known for being a contestant on the nineteenth season of ABC's The Bachelor, and as the lead on the eleventh season of The Bachelorette.[2] She competed on season 29 of Dancing with the Stars, with partner Artem Chigvintsev, and was declared the winner on November 23, 2020.[3]

The daughter of a ballerina,[4] Bristowe grew up in Leduc, Alberta, Canada,[5] and moved as an adult to Vancouver, British Columbia for a dance scholarship[2] where she became a spin-class instructor.[4]

Personal life[edit]

On November 2, 2018, Bristowe and Booth made a joint statement that they had broken up.[19] Kaitlyn started dating Jason Tartick from Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette in January 2019.[20] They share a home together in Nashville, Tennessee, with their two golden retrievers.[21] In September 2019, the couple starred in country singer Brett Kissel's music video for his number one hit "Drink About Me".[22] In November 2020, the couple's dogs starred in the music video for Kissel's "A Few Good Stories" with Walk off the Earth.[23] In May 2021, Bristowe and Tartick announced their engagement.[24] Bristowe revealed on the Out & About podcast that she is bisexual.[25] On August 6, 2023, Bristowe and Tartick released a joint statement that they decided to end their engagement.[26]
