Early life[edit]

Nick Lloyd Webber was the son of British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and his first wife, Sarah Hugill.[2][3] His older sister is the author, broadcaster, and communications executive Imogen Lloyd Webber,[4] his grandfather was the organist, composer and music educator William Lloyd Webber, and his uncle is the cellist and music educator Julian Lloyd Webber.[4]


He was educated at the Dragon School and St Edward's School, Oxford.

Personal life[edit]

In 2007, Lloyd Webber married theatre producer and designer Charlotte Windmill, with whom he had a daughter in 2008.[12] In June 2018, he married viola player Polly Wiltshire.[13] He was the father of two children.[1][9]

Death[edit]

Lloyd Webber died on 25 March 2023 aged 43 at Basingstoke Hospital, after suffering from gastric cancer for 18 months.[14][12][7]
